Young local talent write and produce own play 'Ni-eve' to be performed at the Harrow Arts Centre on the 10th and 11th of May.

Ni-Eve is a story of greed, dreams and superficial existence. Written and directed by Stanmore's 18-year-old Alex Lipman of Blazing Sun Youth Theatre, expect twists and turns set in a world of celebs with a surprise ending. Funding from Harrow Council has helped this group of 16-20 year olds extend their talent to publicity and promotion as well being writers and costume/set designers! This fantastic piece of work is being performed in the Travellers Studio at the Harrow Arts Centre on Saturday the 10th of May and Sunday the 11th of May.

This production is in association with Bearfoot School of Performing Arts.

Performance Dates: Saturday 10th of May at 7.30pm and Sunday 11th of May at 4pm and 7pm.

Tiddalick is a very greedy frog!!!!! When he is grumpy, he drinks all the rivers and the seas of the land. There is no more water left, both animals and plants suffer from drought. But all the animals stick together to save their land and themselves.

Based on the aboriginal tale, The Greedy Frog, this play is a delightful representation of the original story. Tam Tam brings this thought-provoking and funny tale to it’s young audiences in an intimate and entertaining production with beautiful original music.

Have you ever wondered how the giraffe got its long neck, how the leopard got its spots or how the elephant got its trunk? Find out in this brand new show from Tall Stories, the company that brought you The Gruffalo, The Snow Dragon and Monster Hits.

An inventive storyteller and a genius scientist bring us their fantastic and almost entirely contradictory versions of how certain amazing animals came to be – and how certain others came not to be (like the incredible duck-billed octopus).

Stories, silliness and a very confused giraffe combine in this ridiculous new show for everyone aged 4 and up.

Our storyteller is on the run from those three-headed monsters , trying to bring you the most fantastic tales from the Magic Land of Three. Are you really sure what happened to the wolf and those three little pigs? What about Goldilocks? Why was she walking in those woods? And as for the three Billy Goats Gruff, how did they really deal with that troll?

All will be revealed when our storyteller unfolds this beautiful show using puppets and props. It’s full of fun and laughter and has an exciting gypsy soundtrack that you won’t be able to stop singing long after the show has finished.
