Ages 6 - 12 Tickets: £7/ £6.00 concessions

Three children discover a mysterious chest under the bed, in a spooky old holiday cottage. They open it and find a collection of strange and intriguing artefacts. Tossing aside a boring, dusty, old manuscript to get to the good stuff, they excitedly plunder the treasure trove of eye patches, cutlasses, flags and weird old clothes. One child is drawn to the manuscript and ignoring the swashbuckling antics of the others, begins to read:
“This is my story, young Jim Hawkins by name, of survival in the face of bloodthirsty buccaneers and pistol toting pirates, and the whole particulars of our sea bound adventure to Treasure Island…”
As the children are drawn into the story, everything around them in the room begins to change: the bunk beds heave-to; a standard lamp is hoisted aloft as mast and crows nest; sheet sails unfurl and The Hispaniola embarks on a perilous voyage to find and bring back the buried treasure of old Cap’n Flint.

Watermans in Harrow presents
PARTY, a one act play
Saturday 18 October
7.30pm
Tickets £10.00/£8 concessions
The play is an Indian story performed in English, for a universal audience. It includes theatre, with contemporary Indian poetry and classical music woven into it.
PARTY is a spectacle! It explores the hypocrisies of the cultural and intellectual glitterati.
Leading socialite, Indira Sinha throws a party to honour successful novelist, Dibakar Banerjee. Many well known personalities have been invited. As the evening develops the guest’s mask of sophistication falls away to reveal attitudes and beliefs that are normally left unspoken and events take an unexpected turn.
PARTY is about the so-called elite and their exploitation of power, sex and nepotism.
It explores a changing society, where people who have rejected life’s comforts for a social cause come up against those who cannot break free from traditional social structures and values.
PARTY has received critical acclaim from The Telegraph and the Times of India and is presented by Neev, a visiting theatre company from India.
