Yoga

£8-00 per session if pre-paid for the full term, else £10-00 per session drop-in
Yoga is a comprehensive system where the mind, body and breath work in harmony to improve our health and wellbeing.
Regular practice of yoga can bring about many benefits:
• Increases flexibility, stamina and suppleness
• Improves posture and balance
• Increases strength, muscle tone and bone density
• Improves respiratory, nervous, digestive, circulatory and immune systems
• Helps to reduce stress and develop a calmer mind
• Increases our sense of inner peace
Very little equipment or specialist clothing is needed for yoga. Please invest in a good quality yoga mat and wear comfortable, loose fitting clothes. The body temperature can drop during periods of relaxation, so bring something warm to wear or cover up with, such as a sweatshirt or blanket.
