Visiting Us

How do we get to HAC?

Harrow Arts Centre is easily accessible by car / coach and is a 5 minute walk from Hatch End Overground Station. Find out to get to Harrow Arts Centre.

When should we arrive?

Large groups should aim to arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of the performance to leave enough time to get ready.

Can we eat lunch at HAC?

You can eat lunch anywhere in our grounds - we have an extensive picnic area available behind the par park. It may also be possible for you to have lunch in one of our rooms, but this is subject to availability.

Are there any special offers or free tickets for teachers?

Each season we have a range of special ticket prices for schools. We usually do not offer free tickets for teachers – instead we try to keep the schools ticket price as low as possible.

How do we pay for tickets?

To claim school discounts, you can book through Box Office in person or by telephone. You can pay by card or let us know if you would like us to invoice your school.

Is VAT included in the ticket prices?

Tickets for our shows are exempt from VAT.

Is HAC accessible for disabled visitors?

Yes, HAC is fully accessible for disabled visitors to performances and workshops. You can find out more details on our access page. Please advise us of your requirements when booking.

Can we have a copy of the HAC risk assessment?

Yes, please ask when booking or contact box office on 020 3773 7161 for our risk assessment for the building. We also have a specific risk assessment for schools tours and visits to our building which you may also find useful. Teachers are very welcome to visit us prior to group visits to plan learning activities or undertake further risk assessment.

Are there first aiders at HAC?

There are qualified first aiders on site at all times.

What happens if a child is lost while at HAC?

Please let a member of staff know if you have lost a member of your group. Lost children will be taken to Box Office and we will take steps to return the child safely to their parent or teacher in line with our safeguarding procedures. For more details on our safeguarding policies, please contact Charlotte Baldwin on 020 3773 7168 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

What happens to lost property?

All found items are taken to Box Office and kept up to a maximum of 3 months. If unclaimed the item is taken to Harrow Civic Centre for disposal.
